“A rolling stone gathers no moss.” What does it mean?
Some people say the old saying means keeping moving and not putting down any roots helps you avoid worry and responsibility.
Others say it means you have to stay active to avoid stagnation.
Both answers are correct. I don’t really care about which definition is best. All I know is I’m a rolling stone and it’s the way I like to be. I’m not one for hanging around watching the grass grow and being covered in moss doesn’t sound like much fun. What’s so Freaking Good About Moss Anyway?
