Nijmegen is the oldest city in the Netherlands. It’s an interesting place to visit. I took this picture in Marikenstraat.
Marikenstraat is a modern shopping street that has shops on either side, on two levels. When you are on the higher level, you can cross to the other side of the street using the handy, blue pedestrian bridges.
Unfortunately, luck was not on my side as far as the weather went. It was raining but I didn’t let that stop me from exploring the rest of the city.
