The currency in the Czech Republic is the Koruna. There’s nothing smaller than one Koruna (1 Kč) but many stores and supermarkets have prices that contain fractions. If you do a big shop these can add up to a few extra Koruna.
In the example above, the total cost of my shopping was 382, 88 Kč. It was rounded up and I actually paid 383 Kč. If the cost had been less than half a Koruna it would have been rounded down to 383 Kč. The Czech republic is not the only country that has a system like this.
